WeCare, in partnership with the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee, organised the event "Training on ERASMUS+ Opportunities for Civil Society Organisations"On 8 May, a special session was held on European funding opportunities for projects in Cape Verde. The session was led by a specialist in European funding and a European Union evaluator, Bruno Avelar Rosaby the international consultancy Qantara Sports.
The event took place at the Delegation of the European Union to Cape Verde, which kindly hosted the initiative, bringing together various representatives of the country's innovation, sports and social development ecosystem.
During the presentation, the main funding mechanisms available through the European Union were highlighted, with an emphasis on the programme Erasmus+and complementary programmes Horizon Europe e NDICIwith a focus on youth, education, social inclusion, sport and international co-operation.
Among the participants were representatives from Cape Verde Olympic Academy, of the project Community365and leaders of civil society organisations, sports clubs and educational institutions, all interested in boosting the impact of their initiatives through partnerships and internationally funded projects.
WeCare reaffirms its commitment to building the capacity of Cape Verdean organisations and creating bridges between international opportunities and local realities, contributing to the country's sustainable and inclusive development.
