WeCare's new "Comunidade 365" programme is a platform dedicated to certifying organisations that use sport to promote community social impact in Cape Verde.
By taking part in the Comunidade 365 Bootcamp, which is a competition for ideas that contribute to the social sector, participants will become part of this platform. The organisations included will find opportunities to establish more partnerships, become a priority for funding from the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee, will have greater national and international recognition among other organisations and will have more opportunities to participate in other organisations' activities due to the visibility and confidence of having this certificate awarded by the Cape Verdean Olympic Academy (AOC) as the initiative's accreditor and regulator. and recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
The Bootcamp is part of a set of practices to support and empower organisations to boost their community work results based on the criteria of Good Governance and Impact.
Community 365 is the empowerment tool dedicated to all organisations that are creating impact in order to leverage their efforts for better operation through the creation of national and international networks with the common goal: social and community impact.
The target audience for this platform is community leaders, managers, coaches and volunteers from sports organisations with a community relationship to develop projects, services or products in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the International Olympic Committee's Olympism365 strategy.
This programme is funded by the Cape Verde Olympic Academy and the Cape Verde Olympic Committeeo with the support of the International Olympic Committee and implemented by the WeCare. Organisations Social Innovation Sports and Social Development Hub are also partners.
