A First edition of BOOTCAMP Comunidade365: Training, Innovation and Leadership to Transform Communities dates and venues have been confirmed! This pioneering initiative, promoted by the Cape Verde Olympic Academy, aims to train agents of change who work in the areas of sport and community development.
Between September and December 2025, the programme will take place in four municipalities across the country, with a focus on creating sustainable social impact:
BOOTCAMP Community Agenda365:
- Santa Cruz: 15 to 20 September 2025
- Mindelo: 13 to 18 October 2025
- Sal Rei - Boa Vista: 3 to 8 November 2025
- Beach: 15 to 20 December 2025
BOOTCAMP is aimed at social entrepreneurs, community leaders and sports leadersorganised individually or in groups of up to 4 people, who use sport as a tool for social transformation.
Programme objectives:
- Strengthen technical and leadership skills
- Stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit
- Supporting the implementation of impact projects in local communities
Who can take part?
Those interested should:
- Reside in the municipality where the programme will take place
- Be literate
- Demonstrate commitment to results
- Be proactive, innovative, dynamic and team-orientated
This edition reinforces the project's commitment to the developing practical skills, training local leaders and promoting social inclusion through sport and entrepreneurship.
In addition, the programme offers a unique opportunity to sports management certificationawarded by International Olympic Committeethrough the Cape Verde Olympic Committee.
BOOTCAMP Community365 is part of the actions of the Cape Verde Olympic Academy to boost the country's social and sports entrepreneurship ecosystem.
