The Storytelling Fellowship Programme is now accepting applications for its 2024 cohort. This year, we're offering up to eight fellows a free, comprehensive training programme in Impact Production. Whether you're a professional in TV, fiction film, journalism or any other storytelling medium, this is your chance to develop impact strategies and create meaningful change through your work.
What is impact production?
Impact Production is a specialised profession that has evolved over the last 18 years, starting with documentary producers and now expanding into diverse creative fields such as XR, theatre, writing and more. This programme will give you the skills you need to devise impact plans and campaigns that maximise the influence of your creative projects.
Programme overview
The Storytelling Fellowship, which runs from November 2024 to June 2025, includes:
- Core training: 1-week impact production lab from 25 to 29 November 2024.
- Mentoring: A 6-month mentoring programme with monthly online sessions.
- Workshops: case studies, practical activities and group sessions.
Participants will gain a holistic understanding of impact production, learning how to develop strategies, reach target audiences, build partnerships and create ethical and effective campaigns.
Eligibility
We invited interdisciplinary professionals from various fields, including:
- TV
- Fiction and non-fiction writing
- Journalism
- Theatre
- XR/immersive/interactive media
- Games
- Podcasts and audio
- Animation
- Creative Documentary and Docufiction
Applicants must have a fully developed but not yet launched project with clear social impact potential. You must have the right to work in the UK, be able to commit to the entire programme and be in London for face-to-face sessions.
