Applications are now open for the Women Photograph Project Grants 2024 . These grants will support photographic projects - new or in progress - by visual journalists working in the documentary field. Five grants are available, at least one of which will go to a non-binary or transgender photographer.
The funding can be used to cover the hard costs of reporting, creative fees for photographers and any other expenses that support the production of new work. This grant is not intended to support the production of books, exhibitions, workshops or other secondary materials.

- Open to women, non-binary, transgender and intersex documentary photographers of any nationality. Women Photograph's core mission is to include and support the work of photographers representing a diverse range of identities, geographies and experiences. You don't need to be a member of Women Photograph to apply.
- There is no fee.
- Only one submission is allowed per open call.
- Entries must be submitted in English, but translated entries using services such as Google Translate are accepted.
- There are no restrictions on the camera equipment used in any of the bags.
Application
Applicants are encouraged to submit a story, rather than singles, as part of the grant application. The images do not have to be related to the project proposal (but please specify in your application if the images are not related to your proposal).
