Registration for the 2nd edition of the Startup Challenge, a national competition for entrepreneurs, is now open and runs until 26 August.

The application requirements are:
Being a promoter of a business idea or start-up company;
Be between 18 and 35 years old;
✅You have a vocational qualification, higher education or are in the final year of your degree;
Be available and able to take part in Startup Challenge II, which is mainly an online competition, in accordance with the published timetable;
Willing to start and/or diversify their own business in Cape Verde within 1 year of the end of the 2nd edition of the Startup Challenge;
In projects involving foreigners, at least 20% of the share capital must be or become owned by a Cape Verdean.
