Applications are now open for the Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge 2024 . The Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge is designed to support young people (18-30 years old) from anywhere in the world who want to take action on the social and environmental issues that impact them and their community.
The programme and support are aimed in particular at young people with an idea or project at a very early stage of its development. However, they welcome social entrepreneurs and companies at a more advanced stage of their start-up journey, i.e. already providing services, products or activities with a social or environmental impact.

Eligibility
- Open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Participants can be located anywhere in the world. There are no nationality requirements, however all submissions must be in English.
- Your idea must contribute to at least one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
- They are open to ideas, projects and business solutions of all kinds. You may be developing a completely new idea, testing a concept you've been working on for some time, or you may have already had some success in implementing the solution. Projects can be implemented on a for-profit or non-profit basis.
Application
All entries must be made via the Global Innovation Challenge portal. Once logged into the platform, you will be able to work on your submission and make as many edits as necessary until our deadline. Only entries that are 100% complete and have been submitted by 31 July 2024 at 11pm (UTC) can be considered.
