In its fourth year, the ECDAN Knowledge Fellows programme is designed to support early-career ECD professionals globally. Participants will take part in a project that intersects children's needs with climate action plans, a critical focus given the current polycrisis and the urgent need to tackle climate change. The programme is based on the belief that nurturing early-career professionals will not only increase their interest in and commitment to the field of ECD, but also bring new perspectives to the global conversation on ECD.

  • Mode : Remote, allowing scholars to work from anywhere in the world
  • Mentoring Each fellow will be accompanied by an experienced IPR professional who will provide guidance and support throughout the fellowship, together with the ECDAN Secretariat.

Election criteria

To be considered for the ECDAN Knowledge Fellows programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Advanced Degree Must have received an advanced diploma within the last three years.
  • Doctorate status : You shouldn't be writing a doctoral dissertation.
  • Collaboration on projects : Willing to co-create a project with ECDAN that addresses climate change and the needs of young children.
  • Commitment : Ability to devote approximately ten hours a week over a period of nine months.
