Applications are now open for the Rise Global Talent Programme 2021. The programme finds extraordinary young people in need of opportunity and supports them for life as they use their talents to serve others.

Deadline: 29 January 2021

An initiative of Schmidt Futures and Rhodes Trust, Rise will build a global community of future leaders, connecting everyone who applies to a network of peers, learning resources and additional opportunities from Rise partners around the world.

Each year, Rise will select 100 global winners, aged between 15 and 17, and provide individualised support throughout their lives as they commit their talents to building a better world. The winners will receive need-based financial support for universities and internships, mentoring and career services, and access to funding to increase their social impact throughout their careers.

Benefits

  • Support for education: Receive need-based financial support for universities and internships, a technology package and free online courses.
  • Residential Dome: Meet other Rise Global Winners at a fully-funded summit and explore leadership, service and your future career.
  • Mentoring and Career Services: Access resources and individualised guidance as you embark on your career journey.
