The Rotary Peace Fellowships Programme 2023-34 is a fully-funded scholarship for international participants who are true defenders of peace and also work for its advancement. The Rotary scholarship is awarded annually to up to 130 individuals who exhibit extraordinary leadership qualities. These Rotary awards for international students serve as a seal that the student's work is a representation of dedicated leaders and that they have the ability to bring about valuable change by becoming effective catalysts for peace. In this fully-funded scholarship, students are equipped with the best possible methods and techniques to become influential ambassadors for peace and become highly effective professionals.

Accepted students receive training from the best research-informed professors in the world. In addition, through alumni networking, students become part of a diverse learning body. Likewise, the professionals who take part in this Rotary Peace Programme work with world-class professionals and learn practical skills in this one-year blended programme.

The focus of the Rotary Peace Fellowship programme is to bring about change from the grassroots up. At The Rotary Foundation, peace is not considered a mere concept, but is seen as an integral part of life and a cornerstone for human development. In order to achieve the desired result, the opportunity of a fully-funded international fellowship has been provided and, through this programme, participants are introduced to channels of activity that have the potential to leave a mark on the world. It is also kept in mind that if people become able to work peacefully on a local level, this would have a ripple effect on an international level. In addition, alumni of the Rotary Peace Center work in almost every effective field, such as NGOs, the media, research institutes, education, government agencies, police and military agencies, multilateral organisations and also in the arts. In short, the Rotary Peace Fellowship is a platform that has created the next generation of peacebuilders and paved the way for peace and development opportunities.
