Applications are now open for the NerdzFactory Foundation PowerUp Programme 2023 . The PowerUP programme is ready to empower young people with the tools and support they need to turn dreams into reality. The programme will expose participants to the skills they need to start and grow their businesses.
The PowerUp programme is an initiative to train young Nigerians in entrepreneurship. It has been found that one of the main causes of youth unemployment in Nigeria is the high level of skills gap that currently exists among young people, which makes it difficult for young people to secure decent jobs and build thriving businesses, hence the need for job creation and entrepreneurship programmes like PowerUp to equip young people to start and grow sustainable businesses.
For maximum impact, the programme is divided into several components including:

- PowerUP Training
- PowerUP Pitch and Demo-Day

Application
The programme will employ a hybrid training modality - Physical and Virtual. The programme will last 2 weeks, with a series of weekly masterclasses from Monday 10 July 2023 to Friday 21 July 2023.
The physical classes will be held at NerdzFactory HQ, Ogudu GRA, Lagos, while the virtual classes will be held on Zoom.
