Registration is now open for the TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Programme 2024 . TaiwanICDF offers scholarships for higher education and has developed undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in cooperation with renowned partner universities in Taiwan.

International education and training has long been one of TaiwanICDF's main operations, among many others. Human resource development programmes play a vital role in helping partner countries achieve sustainable development, and education is a crucial mechanism for training manpower in developing countries. TaiwanICDF has established the Taiwan International Cooperation Alliance (TICA) with 23 partner universities, setting up an operational platform within this TICA framework to manage and improve the scholarship programme.

Scholarships

• The full scholarship, including airfare (round trip), housing, tuition, credit fees, insurance, textbook costs and a monthly allowance will be provided by TaiwanICDF to each student within the given award period.

• Be a citizen of a country on the TaiwanICDF Scholarship Eligible Countries List and fulfil any specific criteria set by your country and/or government of citizenship.
• Not be a citizen of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or a foreign compatriot student.
• Satisfy the admission requirements of the partner university to which he or she has applied to study with a TaiwanICDF scholarship.
• Be able to fulfil all the requirements for a Resident Visa (Code: FS) established by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) established by the Ministry of the Interior, ROC (Taiwan) government (this means that TaiwanICDF has the right to revoke an offered scholarship if the applicant cannot fulfil the visa requirements).
• When accepting a TaiwanICDF scholarship, do not hold any other scholarship sponsored by the ROC (Taiwan) government (such as the Taiwan Scholarship) in the same academic year in which the TaiwanICDF scholarship should begin.
• By not applying for another TaiwanICDF scholarship in uninterrupted succession in order to apply for a 2024 scholarship, candidates who already hold a TaiwanICDF scholarship, a Taiwan MOFA scholarship or an MOE scholarship must have graduated before 31 July 2023.
• Provide the highest level diploma before 31 July 2024. Candidates who fail to obtain the certificate by this date will be able to apply for next year's scholarship.
• I have never had a scholarship revoked by any ROC (Taiwan) government agency or related institution, nor have I been expelled from any Taiwanese university.

Application

Applicants must complete an online application from 1 December 2023 to 15 March 2024. Please note that each applicant can only apply for one programme at a time. Applicants must also submit a separate programme application to their chosen universities.
