Applications are now open for the Umi 2024 Mentoring Programme for Mothers of African Descent . Umi supports mothers in Africa with the information, connections and community they need to look after themselves and their children.
Launched in June 2023 to help new mothers and mothers of children under 3 become better versions of themselves as world-class mothers, wives, partners and professionals, the Umi Mentoring Programme has brought together mentees in the UK, Nigeria and South Africa with experienced mentors who have supported them on their maternal and professional journeys.

- Applicants must come from Africa and can live on the continent or in the diaspora.
- Applicants must be the biological mother of a child aged between 0 and 3.
- Candidates must be willing to invest their time and attention in becoming better mothers and professionals.
- Candidates must commit to participating fully in the mentoring programme during the three months of the selected group.
