It is estimated that there are now 1.8 million people between the ages of 10 and 24, which is the largest generation of young people in human history. Their numbers are expected to grow - between 2015 and 2030 alone, around 1.9 billion young people are expected to turn 15.
Connected to each other like never before, young people are increasingly contributing to innovative solutions, driving social progress and inspiring political initiatives. They are agents of change, mobilising to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to improve people's lives and the health of the planet.
UNITAR is therefore pleased to offer an online training programme in Geneva designed specifically for global youth. It will offer participants the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the United Nations and provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to fully develop their potential as global leaders.
