The Machel-Mandela Internship programme aims to be the most prestigious of its kind in Africa. It helps sharpen the Brenthurst Foundation's focus on Africa's growing youth population and helps nurture Africa's future leaders.
O estágio estará disponível a tempo inteiro durante um período mínimo de seis meses e espera-se que o candidato seleccionado aceite a nomeação até 1 de junho de 2023. O estagiário poderá ser da África do Sul ou de outros países. Estarão baseados na sede da Fundação Brenthurst em Parktown, Joanesburgo. Os estagiários trabalharão directamente com e assistirão o pessoal da Fundação numa série de projectos e actividades, alguns dos quais exigirão viagens ao estrangeiro.
VALUE
- An all-inclusive stipend per month
- And accommodation, if necessary (subject to Foundation policy) will be provided.
- Other work-related expenses may also be covered by agreement with the Foundation.
ELIGIBILITY
- Under 30
- A Master's degree
- Excellent spoken and written English. African and other languages would be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and reliable, an entrepreneur who requires a minimum of supervision and management
- Ability to balance deadlines and attention to detail
- Fluency in all basic computer skills
- The ability to copy edit and proofread is an asset
- A passion for Africa and a keen interest in new ideas and strategies to strengthen Africa's economic performance.
- Broad knowledge of African politics and economics
