VALUE
- The support offered through coaches, mentors, trainers and programme specialists is tailored to each company based on an exhaustive analysis of the company's growth gaps and obstacles.
- TechBridge Accelerator offers an equity-based investment opportunity of up to US$ 200,000 for startups that meet their investment criteria. They also offer an opportunity to present an external pitch to an international network of investors after 6 months of the programme.
- The Techbridge Accelerator programme offers a unique approach to knowledge transfer through personalised content from TechBridge's international knowledge partners.
- Each selected company will have access to the TechBridge Hub and desk space for operations for up to 3 years.

ELIGIBILITY
- They are looking for you, the entrepreneur with an innovative solution for African markets who has motivation, a commercial mindset, the ability to implement and the will to pivot, adapt and grow.
- They're looking:
- Product companies with a proven working prototype, launch customers and high production costs.
- Service and Software: companies with at least 6 months of customer-based operations and a decent customer base and good customer retention.
- Service/software/product companies with at least 6 months of client-based operations with a solid business model and good client retention.
Selection criteria
- Ready to scale - the technological solution is safe for use by thousands of users and can be deployed in a new country with minimal effort to adapt, if the conditions for scale are met.
- Clear problem-solution fit - ability to demonstrate that the company solves a problem that is relevant to the East African market with an easy-to-understand solution and clear benefits for users.
- Innovative - solves a problem in a unique way / or does it better than what's out there.
- Proven concept - the technological solution is in advanced stages of product development (ideally, it has already launched a beta), has significant real-world results and has measurable and;
- Impactful - the company has achieved significant high-impact indicators linked to 1 or more of the Sustainable Development Goals.
- Safe to use - the solution is safe for technical use from a code, data privacy and cyber security perspective (e.g. Open Source or proprietary developed with the founders).
- Significant use of technology - the company is able to demonstrate that it creates value through technology.
