Deadline: 31 March 2024
Applications are now open for the International Gender Champion Youth Programme (IGC) 2024 . The International Gender Champions Secretariat is pleased to announce the launch of its new pilot initiative, the Young Champions Programme, with the support of the United States Mission to the United Nations and other international organisations in Geneva.
In order to effectively dismantle the barriers to gender equality, it is essential to unite the efforts of committed leaders from different generations. Their programme seeks to amplify the voices of a vibrant generation of future leaders and highlight their role as catalysts for positive change, while providing them with a platform to advance their work and draw on the experience of international decision-makers. The established Gender Champions, in turn, will benefit from the unique perspectives, knowledge and skills of the young activists.
