In a bid to promote sustainable development and educate the future generation about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), AIIDEV Africa has launched Cohort 3 of SDG Teach4.
The Teach4SDGs programme is an intensive 12-week training that includes 10+ advanced workshops, lectures, comprehensive readings and assessments, and practical projects that will enable school educators to deepen their understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The programme will cover the 17 SDGs and their targets, as well as relevant topics such as Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Climate Change
, Environmental Sustainability, Green Economy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Waste Management, Project Management, Technology and Innovation for Educators.

The aim of Teach4SDGs is to equip primary and secondary school teachers with the resources they need to educate the next generation to achieve a sustainable future. The project will provide teachers with the knowledge, skills and tools they need to effectively teach their students about the SDGs and support the integration of the SDGs into the existing curriculum. By integrating SDG-based education into the curriculum, the project aims to promote sustainable development, raise awareness and encourage action to achieve the SDGs.

Eligibility criteriaTo take part in this programme, please note the following criteria before proceeding
your enrolment:
1. Registration is open to all primary and secondary school teachers in public and private schools.
in all sub-Saharan African countries.
2. Ability to commit at least 4 hours on 2 days a week throughout the training programme
. All sessions will be conducted in English.
3. Candidates must be between 20 and 45 years old.
4. Willingness to take part in virtual training sessions and carry out SDG Activation in your school.
5. Interested in being an agent of development and transformation that promotes student learning
on the SDGs.
