Nominations are now open for the Zuckerberg Water Prize 2024 . The award aims to recognise the outstanding achievements and global impact of an individual or organisation in the wider field of Water.
The award ceremony will take place during the biannual International Water Summit, during which the recipient will give a plenary lecture in their area of expertise and attend the full programme. To further develop the reach, equity and impact of this award, winners are encouraged to donate US$ 5,000 of the prize money to a water-related cause of their choice.

Prize
- The Zuckerberg Water Prize offers a biannual prize of US$ 60,000.
Eligibility
- The nomination of candidates who research, develop or implement impactful and lasting water knowledge, solutions, management and policies around the world is welcome.
- Nominees can come from anywhere in the world.
