- The solutions must clearly be aligned with the SDG13 challenge.
- Founded by a person aged between 18 and 30.
- A well-structured time horizon, identified key stakeholders and beneficiaries, and proposed results that are reasonable and well thought out.
- The solution is readily available, being tested, implemented or scaled.
- The solutions must have a positive social impact, for example by generating educational results, job opportunities or developing skills.
- The impact of the solution on society must be adequately measured and/or measurable.
- They must be able to achieve efficiency and survive independently through the resources they generate and/or the investments and donations they attract.
- Potential to increase impact after expanding in scope or size and/or to other regions.
- It must rely on proven or readily available technology (if the technology is relevant to the solution).
