MacArthur Foundation launches third round of 100&Change competition
The MacArthur Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the third round of its innovative 100&Change competition. This initiative offers a one-off grant of 100 million dollars to support transformative solutions to one of the world's most critical social challenges. Applications are open from 22 May to 15 August 2024, encouraging organisations around the world to come up with bold, scalable solutions.
Why 100 & Change?
Traditional grants are often insufficient in addressing large-scale issues. By funding at a significantly higher level than typical philanthropic grants, 100&Change aims to solve problems with the potential for deep and lasting impact. This competition is unique in its global and thematic openness, inviting proposals from all sectors and regions.
New focus on heritage
For this round, MacArthur is integrating the "just" criterion, emphasising the advancement of diversity, equity and inclusion in all proposed solutions. This is in line with the Foundation's Just Imperative, ensuring that no topic is excluded from these core commitments.
