Who we're looking for:
We accept nominations from leaders from all sectors and disciplines, including startup founders, C-Suite executives, scientists, policymakers, social advocates, investors, storytellers and artists. Our aim is to highlight diverse voices shaping a sustainable future.
Appointment guidelines:
1. impact: Nominees must demonstrate genuine and proven positive impacts, without greenwashing.
2. Leadership: We're looking for proactive risk takers who implement solutions and break new ground.
3. Innovation: Leaders must challenge existing boundaries, explore new frontiers and pioneer unique solutions.
4. Growth: Visionaries must have viable plans and the motivation to scale their impact.
5. Recent time: Priority is given to recent advances and significant contributions made in recent years.
6. Equity: The nominees strive to create solutions that benefit everyone, recognising the inseparability of environmental sustainability and social justice.
Appointment process:
- Nominations are open until 11.59pm ET on Friday 7 June 2024.
- The honourees may be emerging leaders or well-known names, but they are all contemporary agents of change.
- The Forbes team initially analyses the candidates, and the finalists can request additional information.
- Panels of industry experts further refine the selection, ultimately compiling the final list presented in alphabetical order, not ranked.
