O Global Solvers Accelerator brings together emerging social change agents from around the world for an impact-orientated, project-focused learning journey. Throughout eight monthsIn this way, participants learn and work together to build collective leadership competences, refine the social impact initiatives they are leading in their communities and trigger transformative change that crosses boundaries of sector, place and identity, promoting social change. Through the programme, participants generate waves of impact: on themselves, building their leadership capacity and transformative potential; on their local community, accelerating their social impact project for sustainable development beyond business as usual; and on their global peers, crossing their know-how, experience and humanity.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
The programme is a springboard for participants to pivot their capacity in areas such as collective leadership, transformative impact and systemic design. Through stimulating thematic contributions, peer exchange, issue counselling and project assignments, participants increase their leadership competencies as well as their global citizenship skills.
PROMOTING IMPACT
The 8-month learning journey connects emerging change agents around the world to refine their social impact initiatives, activate their collective leadership potential and, together, unleash transformative change that breaks down barriers of place and identity, promoting the SDGs.
MELTON BAG
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants are eligible to join the Melton Foundation's lifelong supported community as Melton Senior Fellows, gaining access to a global community of over 600 catalysts for change around the world, project funding through our Action Grants, travel opportunities to global impact events and much more.
CO-LABOURATORY
During the programme, actively engaged participants will be invited to attend a fully funded face-to-face retreat. By connecting hearts, hands and minds, the Global Solvers Co-Lab creates a space for sectors, cultures, identities and know-how to converge into something "greater than the sum of its parts".
Part of the Global Solvers Accelerator, the week-long Co-Lab retreat is a space for participants to connect personally and co-create transformative paths together. The dates and location of the Global Solvers Co-Lab 2024 will be revealed in due course.
As Co-Sponsors of the event, the Melton Foundation and Ernst-Abbe-Stiftung will cover event-related travel, accommodation, visa-related expenses, learning resources and materials, among others, to enable all participants to join the Co-Lab, regardless of their socio-economic background! Participants should, however, be prepared for international travel, hold a valid passport and deal with any necessary visa processes in advance and responsibly.
ACCELERATOR FUND
Participants have the opportunity to tap into immediate financial resources to support their social impact project. The Global Solver Accelerator Fund brings together a significant percentage of the Programme Fees collected from participants and will be made available to deserving projects at the end of the programme.
