Applications to join the CIVICUS Youth Action Team are now open. In 2023 - 2024, the CIVICUS Youth Action Team is looking to strengthen its efforts to better connect with the vast community of almost 4,000 CIVICUS Youth members.
The CIVICUS Youth Action Team is a group of voting members of CIVICUS, led by young people and working to ensure that young people are meaningfully represented and involved in all the structures, governance, strategies and activities of the alliance. But it goes further.
The Youth Action Team sees civic space as the final frontier and wants to make sure that young people have the tools to fully engage here. As a place for the co-creation and design of innovative projects, the YAT sets its own agenda and work plan to ensure that they develop projects in the areas that are currently most critical for young activists, social innovators and human rights defenders.
