UNDP Cape Verde, PROEMPRESA and the NGO Platform are organising the following days 26 and 27 May,  the event "Journey to Sustainable Development" in Hybrid format, which will take place in the conference room of the Barlavento Chamber of Commerce, in the city of Mindelo and through the Zoom platform.

The event aims to bring together representatives of the private for-profit and social purpose organisation sectors, the public sector, Chambers of Commerce and Tourism, Business Associations, business leaders, managers and more to explore innovative methods by which companies and CSOs can be partners in economic recovery, as well as in promoting the accelerators of the SDGs.

With the aim of:

• the role of private sector involvement in accelerating Cape Verde's development
• facilitate the sharing of information and best practices aimed at building the capacity of companies and industries to promote sustainable development;
• carry out a participatory diagnosis of the impact of COVID-19 on the performance of CSOs in responding to emerging social problems;
• identify and agree on the priorities and strategic guidelines for CSO intervention in the post-COVID-19 period.
