Purpose Earth is a grant and mentoring programme that empowers leaders and their transformative solutions to global challenges.

Purpose Earth supports purpose-driven projects that are finding creative solutions in the areas of environmental protection, community activation and cultural collaboration.

Focus areas

• Purpose Earth grant recipients are chosen based on the project's alignment with Purpose Earth's mission and ability to address solutions in the areas of:
  • Environmental Protection (projects that work to alleviate environmental degradation, restore/protect natural resources or address climate change solutions)
  • Community Activation (projects that create a positive and prosperous community network while engaging in transformative change for the good of all)
  • Cultural Collaboration (empowering creative expression and connection, while strengthening the values of compassion and collaboration between communities and sectors)
• Projects must also be able to articulate how a grant will support community impact and outline a specific design process, development and implementation of how the grant will be used within a clear timetable.

Financing information

• The grant funding is up to US$ 10,000 per beneficiary. If awarded, you will receive funding and mentoring support.

Election criteria

• Each organisation may submit only one application.
• Organisations submitting multiple entries will not be considered. ‍
• Incomplete applications will not be considered for funding. Make sure that all mandatory sections are filled out accurately and completely by the deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
• ‍All applicants are required to provide at least one letter of reference from a person with whom you have a professional connection, relating to your qualifications to lead the project and endorsing the project's mission.

Ineligible

• Funding is not provided for the following:
  • Operational support, including salaries, wages or remuneration to consultants, contractors or advisors.
  • Travel support.
  • Capital campaigns.
  • Sponsorships, conferences or awards.
  • Projects that exceed the maximum donation of US$ 10,000, where a donation from Purpose Earth would only constitute a fraction of the total project cost, will not be considered for funding.
