The BMGA Fellows Programme, presented by the BMGA Foundation, is a social impact initiative that aims to reduce the gender skills gap among university graduates in Africa and Asia. This six-month experiential learning programme is designed to empower young women with the knowledge, access and resources needed to develop key employability skills for a successful career in the 21st century.
This fully virtual programme offers:
- High-level professional development courses
- Mentoring postgraduate students at leading global universities
- Coaching senior executives with international experience
- Life skills training to prepare young women for the future of work
The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is an official partner of the BMGA Fellows Programme, and previous groups have been supported by various reputable organisations.
Selected participants will undergo an intensive six-month learning experience, using modern technological tools and resources for transformational learning. The programme consists of modules taught by industry experts, professors and thought leaders from the world's leading institutions, featuring live classes, group discussions and other interactive learning activities.
Eligibility:
- Young women from Africa and Asia
- Final-year university students and early-career professionals with no more than three years' postgraduate work experience
- Excellent academic record: candidates must have graduated top of their class or have a current CGPA equivalent to B+ [UK grading system]
- Proficiency in English (speaking, writing and reading)
- Regular internet access
