The Vegan Society is inviting applications for the Vegan Society Grant to support small and medium-sized non-profit grassroots projects that encourage people to go vegan and stay vegan.
The projects are based all over the world, with a special emphasis on those based in economically developing countries. A typical prize is awarded to projects that meet the criteria and are selected by the interdepartmental panel.
Information on financing
- There is no maximum grant, but a typical prize is no more than £5,000. The more details you provide about how this money would be spent, the better.
Eligible projects
- They are looking for projects that:
- Raising public awareness of veganism in a positive way
- Promote veganism in a unique or exciting way to non-vegans
- Supporting people from marginalised backgrounds to access veganism
Who can apply?
- The projects are based all over the world, with special emphasis on those based in economically developing countries.
- You can apply if you have all the items below:
- A vegan
- A non-profit organisation or individual with a non-profit project
- Not a Vegan Society staff member or administrator
Grant conditions
- As the beneficiary of a grant, you must recognise the Company in all promotional materials and in any coverage the media . A file containing the Vegan Society logo will be sent to all successful applicants.
- All projects must be completed within 12 months of receiving the award.
- Copies of promotional material and any press coverage of your project must be included in your final report. Photographs of the event or project in action are also a must. If they are of high quality, they can be included on the website or in The Vegan magazine.
- A representative from the Vegan Society can attend your event.
- You must send in your report and invoice for the final 25% of your grant within two months of the completion date of your project, otherwise the amount will not be awarded.
