The Goldman Sachs Africa Recruiting Programme is an interactive multi-day programme for students in Africa who will graduate in 2023 and 2024. The programme is open to all graduates and is designed to introduce students to the world of finance through hands-on experience.

About the Goldman Sachs Recruitment Initiative in Africa: "The Africa Recruitment Initiative helps Engineering recruit talent from Africa, create global professional opportunities for prepared students and expand our diversity recruitment reach," said Lade, vice president of Engineering Campus Recruitment, who organised the event. High-potential candidates were invited to a final day of interview preparation, application training and a technical assessment workshop.
"Whether I was offered an internship or not, this programme has been one of the most fantastic points of my life," said Emmanuel, a final year engineering student at the University of Lagos in Nigeria. "I really liked the Goldman Sachs people we met and the practical support they gave us."
Last year, the Goldman Sachs Africa Recruiting Initiative stretched across the continent when the Goldman Sachs contingent visited Nairobi, Kenya for the first time - in addition to previously visited cities Lagos, Nigeria and Accra, Ghana. Serving as an educational and recruitment visit, the initiative provides an opportunity to introduce students to Goldman Sachs' culture and careers in Engineering. Last year, the team selected 164 students from more than 1,200 applicants to take part.
