INTRODUCTION
The Global Fund for Women, in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for groups, organisations, collectives and networks passionate about fighting corruption through feminist perspectives. This call invites innovative proposals to explore and apply feminist strategies in the fight against corruption.
OBJECTIVES
- Explore innovative feminist approaches to fighting corruption.
- To enable groups and organisations to adopt gender-sensitive strategies in the fight against corruption.
- Encourage collaboration and networking between stakeholders to amplify the impact of anti-corruption initiatives.
- To contribute to a corruption-free society, promoting equality, justice and sustainable development.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Focus of the proposalProposals should revolve around feminist approaches to preventing and mitigating corruption. Show how your approach aligns with gender-sensitive principles and aims to create a corruption-free society with equal opportunities for all.
- Innovative SolutionsDemonstrate creativity and innovation in tackling the challenges of corruption. Proposals must propose viable and impactful solutions, showing a clear understanding of the problem and a well-defined strategy for tackling it.
- Collaborative Efforts: Encourage collaborations and partnerships between organisations, ensuring a collective effort to tackle corruption. Highlight potential partnerships and their benefits in achieving the project's objectives.
SELECTION PROCESS:
- Initial reviewA review committee will evaluate proposals based on innovation, alignment with feminist ideals, impact potential and feasibility.
- ShortlistingThe pre-selected proposals will undergo a more in-depth evaluation, focusing on the clarity of the objectives, proposed methodologies, sustainability and alignment with the project's goals.
- Final selectionThe final selection will be made on the basis of the proposal's overall potential to contribute to the project's objectives and effectively combat corruption through feminist approaches.

FINANCING
- Grant amountsGrants ranging from US$ 20,000 to US$ 50,000 (flexible funding) per year will be awarded to selected proposals, with the possibility of multi-year support, guaranteeing sustained efforts to combat corruption.
HOW TO SIGN UP
- Visit the Global Fund for Women website and access the application form.
- Fill in the form with precise and detailed information about your project proposal.
- Make sure that all the necessary supporting documents are attached, showing the feasibility and impact of the proposed approach.
- Submit the completed application by 31 October 2023.
- Proposals should be no longer than 500 words.
The project will evaluate interested candidates and select eligible candidates whose efforts are in line with the project's award criteria.
Successful applicants will be invited to create a profile for their group on the Global Fund for Women website and fill out a comprehensive proposal form, where they can further articulate their proposed project or initiative aimed at addressing or understanding corruption through an intersectional feminist lens, tailored to their specific context or community.
