International Student Forum on Youth, Peace and Security, 23-28 November 2022 - Azerbaijan.
Although the history of humanity contains devastating mass wars, the last century has witnessed the most united effort ever to curb war and its consequences, to develop peaceful conflict resolution mechanisms, safeguard human rights and promote peace.
Historical experience shows that it is crucially important to use all existing peacebuilding measures to provide the next generation with a safe and prosperous place to live with all the conditions for development and co-operation. In this respect, it is difficult to ignore the role of students and young academics and their potential contribution to the development of proposals on peacebuilding measures.
"International Student Forum on Youth, Peace and Security organised by "Bir Könüllü - A Voluntary" Public Union of Student Cooperation with the support of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation" is an initiative aimed at the sustainable peacebuilding process established by young professionals to promote meaningful participation of young thought leaders from various traditions in peace issues with Azerbaijani and foreign experts.
