Applications are now open for the Fjällräven Field Grant 2024. The Explorers Club and Swedish outdoor equipment and clothing company Fjällräven have partnered to create a grant programme aimed at promoting excellence in field exploration through scientific research.
The shared values of conservation, education, community and preserving the instinct to explore are the guiding principles when bidding for another round of Fjällräven Field Grants. This grant award supports exploration and research to better understand our environment, a changing climate and the interconnectedness of wildlife and civilisations around the planet.
The Explorers Club and Fjällräven share a common goal of understanding the world we live in, supporting and promoting a sustainable future through exploration and research. In addition, Fjällräven's mission is to enable and inspire more people to spend time in nature by creating products that have a minimal impact on our environment and withstand a lifetime of use.
Subsidies
- The prizes will be US$ 5,000.
Eligibility
- You are an undergraduate or postgraduate student or a budding scientist.
- You must be carrying out scientific fieldwork in conservation, the environment or natural sciences.

The deadline for applications is 15 November 2023 at 05:00 (Brasilia time). No applications will be received after this deadline.
