What is the Blue Innovation Challenge?
The Blue Innovation Challenge 2023 is a platform that encourages and supports innovative projects that aim to reshape our world. It's a call to action for all the forward thinkers out there. The challenge is your chance to bring your ideas, projects or solutions to the fore and get the recognition and support they deserve.
The Prize
The most promising projects will have the opportunity to shine at the YouthConnekt Africa Summit 2023, where the finalists will present their ideas. But that's not all! Who can take part?
The challenge is open to individuals who fulfil the following criteria:
- You're between 16 and 35 years old.
- You are a citizen of an African Union member state.
- Your project directly addresses one of the focus areas within the Blue Economy.
- Your project is registered as a company or co-operative.
- You are available to attend the YouthConnekt Africa Summit 2023 to take part in the pitching session and the awards ceremony.
