The DataTribe Challenge is a unique annual competition where startups have the chance to receive up to US$ 2 million in seed capital. The Challenge brings together the world's best entrepreneurs looking to revolutionise cybersecurity and data science. DataTribe selects three finalists who share US$ 20,000 in cash prizes and one winner who can receive up to US$ 2 million in seed capital.
About the Challenge
As we prepare for the 6th Annual Challenge DataTribe, the DataTribe is looking forward to all the great companies that will come forward to compete for one of the three finalist spots. The finalists will be announced on 12 October 2023, and the final event of the competition will take place in Maryland on 2 October. November 2023. They hope that this year will continue the tradition of bringing together an incredible group of cyber startups, executives, investors and luminaries.

Why we do the DataTribe challenge
DataTribe wants to continue building world-class companies. We have built a unique reputation as a partner with elite teams at the forefront of innovation, typically leveraging expertise gained in national security agencies or government research and development labs. DataTribe's mission is to advance the state of the art in cyber security and data science.
How to get involved
Interested companies should submit a proposal that includes a deck and relevant information. DataTribe will analyse submissions for technical merit, market potential and team readiness.
Companies interested in competing must also be pre-Series A, with maximum funding to date of no more than US$ 1.2 million. You must have an Enterprise, Big Data or Cyber Security product, beta, MVP or concept to present.
Eligibility
The competition is open to teams/individuals with practical experience in research, design, development, integration and deployment of tools,
techniques and
cutting-edge systems to support cyber operations for governments, university laboratories or a corporate company
. We're looking for founders who want to turn exceptional talent and technology into
world-class product companies.
Requirements
1. The company must be pre-series A. 2.
The maximum funding to date cannot exceed US$ 1.2 million.
3. Must have a cybersecurity or data science product, beta, MVP or concept for
present.
4. Practical experience in national security, defence, national laboratories or R&D organisations
or high-level commercial/business technology.
5. Teams with appropriate commercial experience will also receive extra consideration
.
6. The proposed idea must be suitable for funding at some level to take it further.
7. The proposed idea must not infringe any intellectual property rights, to the best of your knowledge
