Eco-generation has announced a call for applications for the 29th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors Programme.

The Eco-generation Regional Ambassador is an influential position awarded to young people aged between 13 and 24 who are qualified to represent Eco-generation Tunza, an environmental networking platform for children and young people around the world. The Eco-generation Regional Ambassador Programme provides exceptional experiences with the opportunities to actively plan, execute or participate in various environmental awareness programmes in each region and country.

As a representative of Eco-generation Tunza, the Regional Ambassador must embody the spirit and values of the organisation and take on various roles to promote and raise environmental awareness for each region and country they represent. The Regional Eco-Generation Ambassadors must also carry the voice of future generations internationally.

Eligibility:

• All Eco-generationTunza members aged between 13 and 24 (as of 15 August 2022) who are enthusiastic about spreading news and stories about their local environmental issues globally.

Term:

• The Regional Ambassadors of the 29th Eco-generation (hereinafter referred to as "Ambassadors") will be in office for six (6) months, from September 2022 to February 2023.

Criteria:

• 60% Application form + 40% Activity points
• Six (6) months of coverage plan must be declared on the basis of concrete action plans.
• Any false information on an application form can lead to disqualification or cancellation of the position, even after you have been selected.
• Any unfair practice in collecting activity points may lead to disqualification.

Duties:

• An Ambassador must publish at least two (2) reports a month on environmental issues in their region.

• An Ambassador should check their email inbox and the Eco-generation Ambassadors Forum frequently in order to respond promptly to a notice from the Eco-generation team.

• If there are any changes to personal information, such as e-mail address, contact number and home address, a revised "Consent to Use Personal Information" form must be submitted to the Eco-generation team via e-mail (ecogeneration@samsung.com) within 1(One) week.

• Improving personal environmental leadership skills.
• Improved promotions for the organisation itself and (or) environmental awareness programmes.
• Online mentoring provided by mentors to their Ambassador Reports.
• Promotional goods can be provided for environmental awareness campaigns to be planned and executed by the Ambassador : ∙ Ambassadors who successfully submit 4(Four) mandatory reports by the end of the second month can apply for Ambassador's Promotional Goods and Promotional Goods.
• Certificate verifying the successful completion of the Ambassador's duties.
• Reference letters.
• The three (3) best ambassador reports will be published in the monthly Tunza Eco-generation Newsletter, which is made public to Tunza Eco-generation members.
• The "Recognition of the Most Inspirational Ambassador of the term" will be given to 1 (One) Ambassador who demonstrates the most passionate and active environmental activities, as well as participation in various Tunza Eco-generation events. A certificate and a memento will be awarded to the Most Inspirational Ambassador at the end of the term. The process and final decision on the selection will be planned and confirmed by the Eco-generation team.
