The Cape Verde National Commission for UNESCO (CNU) hereby announces that a call for projects is now open for the construction of an artistic installation, in the form of a labyrinth, on the theme: Raising awareness and promoting gender equality in Cape VerdeThe programme is aimed at students up to the age of 35 attending undergraduate, postgraduate and master's degree courses at Cape Verde's higher education institutions.

This initiative aims to contribute to gender awareness in general, drawing the attention of civil society and the authorities to the social, economic and psychological impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, specifically its effects in exacerbating gender inequalities in the country.
