The International Martial Arts Centre for Youth Development and Engagement under the auspices of UNESCO (ICM) is hosting the Martial Arts Photo Contest 2024 to raise interest and awareness about the values of martial arts. Entries are open to all interested parties.
Theme: Martial Arts, Embracing the World
Universal martial arts values, such as inclusion, justice, resilience, sportsmanship, etc., which could be shared by everyone around the world - Martial arts values captured during physical activity or in everyday life.
Prizes
Certificate of merit (physical delivery) and cash prize (bank transfer).
- The value of the cash prize may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations and income tax may be applicable in your jurisdiction.
- Remittances abroad are paid in dollars using the real-time exchange rate and the actual amount received may vary.

- Anyone from all over the world interested in martial arts or photography (regardless of age or nationality)

Shipping guidelines
- Only photographs taken on digital devices will be accepted (prints will not be accepted)
- Send a copy of your original photo during submission; each photo must be saved in JP(E)G or PNG format
- Original files must be sent on request. The long border of the original file must exceed 5,000px. If the original file is not sent upon request, it will not be considered in the judging.
- You can send up to three photographs (only the highest photo will be awarded per person)
Application
Submit your photo on the competition website. There is no entry fee.
You must send information about the work (title, description, filming location, filming period) and your personal details (name, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, nationality) on the registration site.
