"This is the decade of action, and we are all called to act," said facilitator Zélia Rodrigues.

It was with these words of warning and inspiration from the United Nations that Comunidade365 organised, in partnership with the UN offices in Cape Verde, a workshop dedicated to the practical implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The session took place on Wednesday 19th March in the training space kindly provided by the BIC - Business Incubation Centre, bringing together more than 20 representatives of various social organisations committed to strengthening their positive impact on the community.

Participants included organisations such as Comunidade365, WeCare, Social Development Hub - SDH, CUFA Cabo Verde, Associação Lideras, the Cabo Verde Paralympic Committee, the Cabo Verde Olympic Committee, the Cabo Verde Olympic Academy and the BIC itself, providing a valuable exchange of experiences and innovative approaches.

This meeting represented another step towards the 2030 global target.

This collective commitment reinforces the conviction that, together, we can realise the dream of a fairer and more sustainable world.

Comunidade365 would especially like to thank Zélia Rodrigues, the representative of the United Nations offices in Cape Verde, for the excellent dynamisation of this initiative, which will certainly help to leverage joint efforts in favour of the SDGs.
