Competition tracks
- Track 1: Innovations in Engineering: This track focuses on start-ups that bring innovative solutions in the areas of mechanical, civil, electrical or environmental engineering. It covers areas such as advanced materials, energy systems, infrastructure development and environmental technologies.
- Track 2: Sustainable Business Ventures: This track is dedicated to startups that incorporate sustainable practices and principles into their business models. It includes areas such as sustainable supply chains, green innovation, eco-friendly products and renewable energy ventures.
- Track 3: Environmental Solutions: This track is designed specifically for startups that address environmental challenges and sustainable solutions. It covers areas such as pollution control, waste management, improving water and air quality and environmental monitoring technologies.
- Track 4: Social Entrepreneurship: This track is open to startups that combine business innovation with social impact. It includes initiatives that address social issues, promote inclusion, empower communities and contribute to sustainable development goals.
- Track 5: Cities of the Future: This track focuses on startups that have been put forward for the development of cities of the future through innovative urban planning, smart infrastructure, sustainable transport, IoT-enabled urban solutions, AI-driven urban management systems and sustainable urban development practices.

- 1st place winner: SAR 30,000
- 2nd place winner: 20,000 SAR
- 3rd place winner: SAR 10,000

Eligibility
The Venture-Z Startup Competition is open to aspiring entrepreneurs and startup teams from various backgrounds and sectors. Participants must fulfil the following criteria:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- You must have a viable business idea or an early-stage start-up.
- Individuals or teams can take part (team size restrictions of 5 members).
- International participants are welcome.
Judging Criteria
The judging panel will assess the start-up pitches on the basis of various criteria, including innovation, market potential, foresight, team capacity and scalability. The specific selection criteria will be communicated to participants in advance to help them prepare and align their presentations accordingly.
