Applications are now open for the Expo City Dubai Artificial Intelligence Film Festival 2023 . The Artificial Intelligence Film Festival (AIFF), an initiative of Expo City Dubai, includes a competition for submissions of short films, from 2 to 10 minutes in length, that incorporate content generated from or incorporating Artificial Intelligence tools.
AIFF spans almost six months of dynamic experiences, including a global competition, innovative film screenings, engaging panel discussions with renowned filmmakers and AI experts, hands-on workshops that offer insights into integrating AI into filmmaking, and captivating exhibitions that showcase AI's revolutionary impact on the future of storytelling.

- Best Film Award
- Best Director Award
- People's Choice Award
- AI Choice Award
Election criteria
- The AIFF is only open to eligible individuals who, at the time of registration, are at least 18 years old. Participants submitting an application must present a valid National Identity Card (ID) or international passport in order to be eligible to enter and participate in the AIFF.
- The organiser and the AIFF jury will not consider entries from the following individuals:
- the organiser's employees and representatives, as well as those of affiliated companies and marketing agencies;
- persons employed by other parties involved in the administration of the AIFF; and
- Immediate family members of the two categories above, including spouses, parents, children, siblings and adoptive family members and members of the same household.
- Each participant may not submit more than one entry to the AIFF.

Application
The AIFF competition is now open, with film creators from around the world invited to submit a short film that includes AI-generated content. The winning entries will be presented at a grand closing gala event on 29 February 2024.
