The European Commission (EC) is accepting proposals for New Technologies and Innovation to modernise transport infrastructures in the TEN-T Core and Comprehensive Networks.

Studies related to the following projects will be supported:

• Projects supporting new technologies and innovation, including automation, integrated infrastructure capacity and traffic management, improved transport services, modal integration in accordance with Article 9(2)(b)(iv) of the CEF Regulation, including aspects of the development of Mobility as a Service (MaaS), such as combination and e-ticketing for passengers or track and trace features for goods (except for alternative fuels which are supported by the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility).

Financing information

The indicative budget for the call is EUR 400 million.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:

• be legal entities (public or private organisations)
• be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e:
  • EU Member States (including Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs))
  • third countries associated with the CEF.
