The Green Web Foundation is looking for five practitioners for a 10-month paid part-time fellowship for its 2023 cohort.
Successful fellows will present a project that contributes to the digital rights and climate justice movements. Fellows will also learn together and from experienced professionals about which powers control the Internet, how it is fuelled and what can be done about it.
The fellows will:
- dedicate half a day a week to your scholarship for 10 months.
- design and deliver a scholarship project that contributes to digital rights and climate justice.
- take part in weekly cohort calls and monthly online workshops while documenting your outdoor learning.
Benefits
Scholarship holders receive:
- A splurge of €8,400 to compensate you for your time.
- Project budget of €2,500 to pay your collaborators, materials, travel and other expenses for the proposed project.
- Guidance from experienced professionals in Internet greening, climate justice, digital rights and facilitative leadership.
Eligibility
- Open to an individual who acts towards a fairer and more sustainable future, it maintains a collaborative space for its communities and is dedicated to self-reflection in its practice;
- You have a clearly articulated project or collaboration that contributes to digital rights and climate justice;
- You are affiliated to an organisation or are working independently
- They especially encourage people who identify as People and Areas Most Affected to sign up.

Successful candidates will be notified by the end of December. The cohort will run from 1st February to 30th November 2023.
