Deadline: 7-Dec-22
Do you have an idea to systemically address some of the most pressing issues in the Global South? Do you need funding and support to test your idea in practice?
The Systems Innovation Learning Partnership (SILP) is launching a call for ideas for its Experimentation Fund to support experiments that advance knowledge and understanding of systems innovation practices, methodologies and approaches. EIT Climate-KIC is especially looking for applied experiments in the field of development co-operation, focusing on the needs of people living in poverty and addressing issues related to the environment and climate change (adaptation and mitigation), human rights, conflicts, gender equality and disadvantaged communities.
Mira
The fund aims to advance your knowledge of the potential applications and limitations of systems innovation practices and approaches. EIT Climate-KIC does this by funding and supporting the learning journeys of systems innovation experiments. Within the focus areas described above, EIT Climate-KIC does not limit the range of systems that experiments can address, or potential leverage points, but looks for the potential to learn about applicable methods and processes for systems innovation.
That's why EIT Climate-KIC is particularly interested in supporting experiments that combine ideas that have never been tried before and their application in new contexts.
Financing information
Applicants will have the opportunity to access funding of up to 100,000 euros and will be supported to test their ideas in a hands-on learning approach, providing a fail-safe context so that learning can be captured quickly and effectively.
