programme overview
The Flagship Fellowship is a 16-week leadership and venture development programme designed for impact-driven entrepreneurs. This programme aims to equip participants with the skills, guidance and resources needed to achieve product-market fit and scale their ventures. The fellowship begins with an immersive in-person experience in Boulder, Colorado, followed by virtual sessions. This structure offers award-winning training, committed mentoring and a supportive community of peers.

Important dates and format
- Programme duration: 1st August to 12th November 2024 (16 weeks).
- Immersive face-to-face: a 10-day immersive session starting on 1 August 2024.
- Virtual Sessions: Weekly sessions for the remaining 15 weeks (8-10 hours per week).
Training and Support
The fellows will take part in weekly sessions given by experts covering essential topics such as Fundamentals, Data and Metrics, Go-To-Market, Financing, Team Management and Pitching. The programme also includes the Impact Series, where renowned leaders and entrepreneurs share their experiences and mentor the fellows.
Basecamp and Summit
Each Fellow will organise a "Basecamp" in their community, a 1-3 day workshop designed to bring together local stakeholders, share venture work, receive feedback and promote community involvement. The fellowship ends with a Summit on 12 November 2024, where Fellows present their ventures to local leaders, funders and entrepreneurs.
Eligibility and application process
Who should apply?
- Entrepreneurs and Community Leaders: Individuals committed to creating a sustainable and scalable impact in their communities.
- Entrepreneurial stage: the ideal candidates are at the stages of problem-solution fit or product-market fit, with engaged customers or beneficiaries and demonstrated results.
- Geographical Focus: Preference is given to candidates from the USA, Mexico, East Africa, Brazil, Johor Bahru, Malaysia and China.
Application steps
- Send registration: Complete the online application by 1st June 2024.
- Review of the first round: applications are analysed for strong leadership qualities and innovative, scalable ventures.
- Interview: Qualified candidates will be invited to a 20-minute Zoom interview.
- Final Review: The selected profiles will be reviewed by an external Admissions Committee.
- Notification of acceptance: The notifications will be sent until 27 June 2024.
- Registration: Accepted scholars must confirm their participation and take part in a "Meet the Cohort Webinar".
Programme elements
Training
Fellows participate in comprehensive training sessions that cover vital areas of venture development and leadership. These sessions are designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to scale up impact-orientated ventures.
Base camp
A Basecamp is an Impact Workshop led by each Fellow in their community. It serves as a platform to share the venture's progress, receive feedback and build local partnerships. Successful Basecamps can unlock new opportunities, additional funding and media exposure.
Stipend for risk development
The selected fellows will receive a share of a stipend of US$ 20,000 based on their progress and impact throughout the programme.
