The IUCN Leaders Forum is an annual event that brings together leaders and changemakers from around the world to discuss innovative solutions to critical global challenges, make bold commitments, build partnerships and catalyse action for impactful change in nature conservation and sustainability.
This year, the International Union for Conservation of Nature Leaders Forum (IUCN) will be held in Jeju province, Republic of Korea, from 13 to 15 October 2022 and will focus on "Building nature-friendly economies and societies".
The 3 main objectives of this year's edition are:
- Bringing together influential and innovative leaders (government, private sector, civil society, sub-national authorities, others) with the aim of creating alliances and new partnerships, identifying innovative solutions and advancing the international political agenda on this issue;
- Create a space to discuss emerging issues and help shape future market forces on issues related to nature and climate;
- To provide a platform for young people to raise awareness of their actions and establish links with potential collaborators in the public and private sectors to develop their projects.

Criteria for your application to be considered
You should apply to be an IUCN Leaders' Forum Changemaker if you fulfil the following requirements:
- 18 - 35 years old
- Have a track record of leadership and innovation in the fields of nature conservation, biodiversity, climate change and/or sustainable development.
- He is currently working on an innovative project that contributes or will contribute to building nature-friendly societies and economies.
