The European Commission (EC) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the European Social Innovation Catalyst Fund to ensure adequate financial support for the replication of existing and proven successful social innovations.

• The creation of the Fund shouldn't take more than six months to a year;
• The scope of this fund serves different missions, such as:

1 - Adapting to Climate Change: supporting at least 150 European regions and communities to become climate-resilient by 2030

2 - Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030

3 - Cancer: Improving the lives of more than 3 million people by 2030 by preventing, curing and ensuring that people affected by cancer have a better life.

4 - 100 Climate Independent Smart Cities by 2030

5 - A soil agreement for Europe: 100 living laboratories and beacons to lead the transition to healthy soils by 2030

How?

• Replicate and improve existing and proven successful products, services, business models, organisation, governance and other social innovations capable of addressing appropriate objectives for the above-mentioned Europe-wide missions
