To help break down the barriers that prevent underrepresented groups in technology and business from attending leading conferences, we are excited to offer Google scholarships and travel grants to selected conferences in the technology sector and related fields. To encourage attendance at tech conferences, Google will provide selected recipients:

Free conference registration
North America: Cost of registering for the virtual conference listed in the North America tab.
Europe : Up to 1,000 EUR for travel and accommodation costs (to be paid after the conference)
India : A prize in the range of 1,000 - 3,000 USD that will cover conference registration, travel, accommodation and other related expenses.
Africa : An award in the range of 1,000 - 3,000 USD which will cover conference registration, travel, accommodation and related expenses. The amount of the scholarship depends on the cost of the international conference.
Japan and South Korea : Up to 3,000 USD for air tickets and accommodation costs (to be paid after the conference).

The value of the scholarship depends on the cost of the international conference. Scholarship eligibility varies by region, so please review the region-specific tab information at the top. Scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified individuals based on a review of applications. Each applicant will be notified of their status according to the deadlines specified for the region.
