Faith For Our Planet (FFOP) invites you to apply for the Interfaith Youth Leaders Fellowship on Climate Change 2025, organised in collaboration with Duke University Divinity School.
This one-week, fully-funded fellowship is designed for young leaders committed to climate action, inspired by their faith. If you're ready to deepen your understanding of how faith intersects with environmental stewardship and community leadership, this fellowship is for you.

What's in it for you?
Twenty-five exceptional young people will be selected to take part in this transformative experience. You will participate in a rigorous curriculum led by experts in religious studies, climate change, intercultural relations, media and community work. This programme is an opportunity to build trust and understanding across religions, cultures and sectors, while equipping yourself with the tools to lead impactful climate action projects in your community.

On completion of the fellowship, you will become part of the FFOP Fellowship Alumni Association, offering ongoing opportunities to participate in regional events, campaigns and collaborative projects.
Election criteria
We are looking for a diverse group of 25 participants who meet the following criteria:
- Aged between 20 and 30.
- Have education Volunteering or professional experience related to climate change, religion, community leadership or similar areas.
- Having access to or the will to mobilise local networks.
- Proficient in English.
Participants' expectations
As a scholar, you are expected to:
- Fully commit to the duration of the scholarship, including any pre- or post-scholarship activities.
- Develop and implement a faith-based community climate action project.
- Show enthusiasm for learning and networking.
- Be actively involved in the activities of the FFOP Youth Alumni Association after the scholarship.
