Whether you're a religious leader, a climate activist, a budding professional in a faith-based organisation or a recent graduate just starting out - as long as you're eager to learn how to mobilise faith communities to combat climate change, we've got you covered.
Fully-funded one-week programme

A group of 25 to 30 young leaders and agents of change will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to expand your networks and develop your skills to deliver an impactful faith-based climate action project.
On this journey, they will be trained by distinguished experts in the field of religious studies, climate change, politics, media and sustainable development, that will help them acquire knowledge and skills in ecotheology, systems thinking, community mobilisation, advocacy and much more. !
Note that although our registration deadline is 10 November 2022, o FFOP will analyse applications continuously and so we can close registration early. With only 25 to 30 places available, we advise anyone interested to apply as soon as possible.

The scholarship is a fully-funded one-week residential programme at Duke University for the next generation of religious leaders. This is an invaluable opportunity for young climate-conscious individuals from all religions and walks of life to become part of a global network of religious actors engaged in climate action.
Through expert lectures, interactive sessions, policy dialogues and vocational training, fellows will explore various themes and explore transferable skills to curate impactful faith-based climate action projects for their respective communities . The curriculum will be delivered by distinguished experts in the field of theology, climate change, politics, media and sustainable development.
As part of the programme, our fellows will benefit from knowledge of:
- World religions and the environment
- Eco-theology: the theological study of the relationship between religion and the environment.
- Systems Thinking: Identifying the Political and Economic Paradigms of Climate Change.
- Project planning and community mobilisation
- Strategic communications
- Advocacy and community outreach
On completion of the programme, our fellows will join the ranks of the FFOP Fellowship Alumni Association This has given them various opportunities to take part in regional FFOP events, as well as climate and interfaith campaigns.
Note: All travel, visa, accommodation and subsistence costs will be provided by Faith For Our Planet.

- 15 November 2022: The remaining scholars must receive their acceptance letter and other documents to make the necessary visa arrangements
- 22 November 2022: Final announcement of the FFOP 2023 Youth Scholarship Cohort
