About the Scholarship
Bristol Myers Squibb is a global biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients overcome serious diseases. Our vision is to be the world's leading biopharmaceutical company that transforms patients' lives through science. At BMS, it's about discovery – the kind that transforms patients' lives through innovative, life-saving medicines.
We firmly believe that prescription medications are such a vital part of human healthcare that all who need them should have access to them. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have been, and remain, committed to facilitating access to our medications and promoting our mission of helping patients overcome serious illnesses.
As part of our commitment to continuing our strong leadership and legacy in pioneering medicines to save lives around the world, Bristol Myers Squibb will support 5 young leaders who are improving health outcomes in communities disproportionately affected by serious illnesses and health problems, to participate in the 2023 World Summit through the Bristol Myers Squibb Scholarship.
The fellowship aims to identify and empower young leaders who improve medical outcomes in vulnerable communities and transform lives through science. Bristol Myers Squibb academics are social entrepreneurs, activists, healthcare professionals, and others who are paving the way for a world with a more inclusive and innovative healthcare sector and a shared mindset to serve patients.
